如果finishing前面是am/is/are，則是現在進行時；
如果說finishing前面是was/were，則是過去進行時；
如果finishing前面是have/has been，則是現在完成進行時；
如果finishing前面是had been，則是過去完成進行時。
再看writing：
finish后面接動詞，動詞要加ing變成動名詞。動名詞是非謂語動詞中的一種，是由動詞轉化成的名詞。這個writing不是時態問題，因為只有謂語動詞才有時態。

但是finish是完成，結束的意思，好像沒有現在完成時
英語動詞時態用法歸納：將來進行時
1. 構成
will / shall be +現在分詞。
2. 基本用法
(1) 表示將來某時刻正在進行的動作。如：
Don’t phone him between 5pm and 6pm. He’ll be having a meeting then. 五點至六點之間不要給他打電話，那時他在開會。
When I get home, my wife will probably be doing 買粉絲oking. 當我到家時，我太太可能正在做飯。
(2) 表示按計劃或安排要發生的動作。如：
The train won’t be leaving until one o’clock. 火車一點鐘才開。
We shall be going to London next week. 下周我們要去倫敦。
(3) 常用來表示預計即將發生或勢必要發生的動作。如：
When shall we be meeting next time? 我們下次什么時候見面？

(4) 表示委婉語氣。如：
Will you be needing anything else? 你還需要什么嗎？

3. 將來進行時與一般將來時的區別
(1) 將來進行時表示將來某時正在進行的動作; 而一般將來時表示將來某時將要發生的動作。如：
What will you be doing at seven the day after tomorrow? 后天晚上七點會在做什么呢
What will you do at seven the day after tomorrow? 后天晚上七點你干什么？
(2) 將來進行表示已有的安排；而一般將來時表示臨時決定。如：
I’ll go to see him after school. 放學后我去看她。
I’ll be going to see him after school. 放學后我準備去看她的。
(3) 兩者均可表示將來，但用將來進行時語氣更委婉，比較：
When will you finish your homework 你什么什候完成作業？
When will you be finishing your homework 你什么什候完成作業呢？
(4) 有時將來進行時則只是單純地談未來情況；而一般將來中的will含有“愿意”的意思。比較：
Mary won’t be paying this bill. 不會由瑪麗來付錢。(單純談未來情況)
Mary won’t pay this bill. 瑪麗不肯付這筆錢。(表意愿)
