賽琳娜是獨生女，出於於紐約市，成長於德州Grand Prairie。母親Mandy Teefy是個演員，在16歲時生下她。她的第一個角色是在7歲的時候Barney & Friends飾演Gianna。她10歲時在一個全國迪士尼才藝選秀中被迪士尼發掘。2006年，她客串第二季小查與寇弟的頂級生活（仲夏夜惡夢A Midsummer's Nightmare），飾演小芬。
在2007年，她出現在第二季孟漢娜，飾演孟漢娜的勁敵Mikala
近日，賽琳娜主演少年魔法師的Alex，該劇於2007年10月在迪士尼頻道首播（美國）。
