大樹也會生病.我們生病，醫生會給我們看病.大樹生病了，“醫生”----啄木鳥們來給它們看病.記得在一個炎熱的夏天，氣溫高得有四十度.在這一天，有一棵大樹卻生病了.大樹生病的消息很快傳開了，一直傳到啄木鳥的耳朵里.啄木鳥們聽了很是著急，但在這個烈日當空的炎炎夏日，到底是去還是不去？鳥兒們“喳，喳，喳”地展開了激烈的討論.這時，一只老啄木鳥想“時間不等人，我一定要趕緊去.”于是，他“喳，喳，喳”地對伙伴們說了一聲飛去了.就這一句話把所有啄木鳥都驚呆了，老啄木鳥好像在說：“時間來不及了，快點吧”.大家看到的是這個老英雄在對面的大樹上飛來飛去不停地捉著蟲子，頭上的“汗水”像雨滴一樣往下流，可他并沒有停下來休息一下.大家都呆呆地看著這位“捉蟲能手.”“喳，喳，喳，喳”這清脆的叫聲是一只小啄木鳥發出的，他在說：“我們也要去幫大樹治病.”這句話像提醒 *** 一樣，啄木鳥們一只又一只地飛出去.大家都投入到緊張的救護工作中.它們干得是那么齊心，那么歡快.它們不怕炎熱、不怕苦、不怕累，默默地無私奉獻著自己的勞動.一條又一條的蟲子被這些“醫生”們拖了出來，大樹的“臉色”也越來越好看了.看著大樹越變越好，啄木鳥們干得更加歡快了，它們還唱出了激動人心的號子.許許多多“生病”的大樹被治好了.我們要向啄木鳥學習，學習它們無私奉獻的精神.
