象形詞是就是人們利用單詞整體或局部結構的象形性(形狀)、特征、動作而創造出來的。在記憶過程中盡量運用直觀形象和形象思維，以提高記憶效果。這類詞在英語中占有重要地位,只要我們抓住這一特點,記憶單詞就容易多了,英語中象形詞很多,卻很少被人們發現。
