安裝舊版本的Mendeley Desktop (v1.1.7)。在第二次出現ActiveX not found error 429時候，以管理員身份運行或者雙擊運行 MendeleyWordPlugin.exe 不起作用，最后重新下載安裝了v1.17解決了這個問題。v1.17的下載網站如下：

2. 在Windows注冊表中注冊Mendeley Word Plugin，需要以管理員身份運行cmd。【更新于2020/12/29】再次出現ActiveX not found error，通過這個方法解決了問題。
In my case I fixed reregistring the the "MendeleyWordPlugin" in the windows register.
To do that you have to use "買粉絲mand prompt".
1- Digite "cmd" in programs.Right click on it, choose 'Run As Administrator'.
2- Go to the mendeley folder. In my case is in "c:Program Files (x86)Mendeley Desktop"
For change folder tou can use "cd + name of the folder". To back digite "cd .." If you have doubts google "usual DOS 買粉絲mands".
3- After you are in the mendeley folder digite "MendeleyWordPlugin.exe /regserver"
This 買粉絲mand will register your "MendeleyWordPlugin.exe" in the windows register.
